I'm not sure about Oregon, but OP asked about Washington. Washington doesn't have in-person voting at all (as far as I'm aware), and in order to vote you have to have a ballot mailed to you in the first place. So not too many people get to vote because the state doesn't even generate ballots for them. Oregon may be different of course.Yeah. Why even have elections at that point? Two year olds could vote. I could vote for every deceased family member of mine. That's just terrible all the way around. That's not voting. That's just cheating.
I'm the OP. And I was responding to Koda's comment providing the insight on Oregon elections. Terrible to have that happen in ANY state.I'm not sure about Oregon, but OP asked about Washington. Edit: a letter I typo'd
If you think voting actually has any effect on how they "count the votes" then your another one that has been greatly deceived.I just don't understand why people would vote for people that are clearly against what they believe in and the rights that they hold precious. Not voting is bad enough. But voting for the candidate who is clearly against you, will always boggle my mind.
Overall, have our votes ever actually counted? If so, did it stop counting then in the 80's? Just here or everywhere? Don't know if I can say fraud or rigged on this page. But I still think we should go try. And I think there should be consequences to those committing the fraud and rigging. But I know there won't be because they are the ones in power. I get that. But I don't think the answer is to give in and not vote. Not try to expose the cheating. If you think voting actually has any effect on how they "count the votes" then your another one that has been greatly deceived.
Mail in Absentee ballots in 1983…….
Last republican governor was in 1985………..
Hopefully your smart enough to draw a conclusion somewhere there.

Should be and will be are 2 very different things. They will get away with it like that have been for the last 40 years.Overall, have our votes ever actually counted? No to all this.Is it more obvious now than ever before, yeah. Are the people still powerless to do anything about it, you bet.
WE didn't vote our way to where we are today, it's foolish to think "WE" can vote our way out. Nothing will change short of mass awaking through individuals surrendering to Jesus, or a bloody civil war like in 1775.
This nation was founded to be run by God fearing individuals that had a reverence and relationship with Jesus Christ as their savior. And in so doing had a respect for their fellow man because there was an understanding that they too were made in the image of God and had rights because of it. Anything short of that and the whole thing falls apart as we have seen in the last 60-70 years.
Please enlighten me thenNo to all this.
The super short to the point version is nobody wants to live under a theocracy and thats not what our country was founded on.Please enlighten me then
To answer the OP's original questions, yes you can still vote in-person in Washington state, but it is generally geared towards those with visual disabilities or who otherwise need extra help, though anyone can do so if they really want to. For example, here is Snohomish county's information on in-person voting:I guess I knew this when I moved up two years ago. But when did this start and why? And do you guys use the drop boxes, go to the election office or just not bother voting? It was just announced that the National Association of Letter Carriers (Postal Workers) endorsed Kamala. So…yeah. Not a conflict of interest, at all or anything.
So basically, people with visual impairments or "who otherwise need extra help" may be able to vote in person in Snohomish County. But vote by mail is required in Washington state…unless you're visually impaired or need extra help. So…I have to vote by mail. Got it!but it is generally geared towards those with visual disabilities or who otherwise need extra help, though anyone can do so if they really want to. For example, here is Snohomish county's information on in-person voting:
WA state made VBM (vote by mail) a permanent option to allow counties to choose in 2005, then made it required statewide in 2011.
Is that directed at me?If you can't read the fine print aren't you 'visually' impaired?
JMHO, but I think he should have included a at the end of that. like if you want to use the drop box just say you have trouble reading all the fine print. What are they going do about it, make you take an eye test on the spot?Is that directed at me?
It's not just Snohomish county, I only provided that as an example. AVU's are available in every county in the state. This is from the voter's pamphlet of Stevens county:So basically, people with visual impairments or "who otherwise need extra help" may be able to vote in person in Snohomish County. But vote by mail is required in Washington state…unless you're visually impaired or need extra help. So…I have to vote by mail. Got it!
