What the hell!!! Stock up NOW... before you can't! Apparently self protection is not high on the list for disasters.

Right now I'm just annoyed at gas prices going up. What a scam.

Best avoid WM ALWAYS. The little you might save could be better spent with other people who
support guns /1 hunting and the second amendment. :):):)

I'd like to know where this was and if it was just this store's policy, or if some government agency put a halt on guns and ammo sales and they're just complying. As much as it wouldn't surprise me if a store decided not to sell, it would surprise me even less if the government overlords decided to use a natural disaster as a kind of temporary ad hoc gun control attempt.

Looks like a Walmart ammo cabinet so they just going to leave it on the shelf so the looters can take it and go sale it in Chicago and Baltimore lol

Well, nice to see Walmart wants to alienate sportsmen and sportswomen, no to mention those who are exercising the Constitutional and Civil Rights....

I have ammo for every gun I own.

Would I like more? Yup! But I can only spend so much (i.e. Very little) per check to build up my stash.

IMO this is also a good argument for consolidating your caliber's.

So from what I gather, the lesson to be learned from this, is that the day before a major disaster hits, may not be the best time to gather items which may be useful for said disaster and it's aftermath.

    Mind blown

I know this one for sure. It isn't my local gun shop and if it was I know that I have enough to make it through anything. ;):D

And M2 AP hardball is exempt from the "Armor-Piercing ban"... good reason to keep a Garand and combat-load of clips or BM59-ish and similar amount of loaded mags around just in case.

Or have a .30-06 AR10, if anybody makes one...

In most of the South NICS is down so no gun sales. I don't know about ammo sales.....

Next year in CA you will have to pass a background check to buy ammo. It's just another way they can stop the flow when they want! Oops! the phone lines are busy, No ammo today for you! DR
