No Acorns

    My house is surrounded by oaks. Normally by this time of year, acorns are dropping on my roof and yard. Lots of them.

    I have yet to see a single acorn this year. Anyone else notice this? :huh:

    You were visited in the night by the dreaded Squirrel nutkin! Seriously though, that is rather odd! I live in Clackamas county and my wife and I walk our dog through a park almost evfery night that has several oaks and they seem to be acting "normal" Lots of acorns on the ground!

    I've been having a hard time gathering 'corns for processing too. There are a few trees nearby that are dropping a good amount but for the most part the harvest is quite low.
