Because the computer flags you? Dunno. If your name is anything approaching something as common as John Smith, I could definitely see them wanting to look a little further just to be sure you're you. Could also try providing your SSN? Or since you've been 100% via phone, just request it be done that way every time? Pretty simple answers to an annoying problem
