    50 Caliber Ammo Cans

Had the wife pick up two cans yesterday. The ones that she brought home are 5.56 cans but they are like brand new. Not sure if she got wrong ones or if the ad is a misprint.. Still a great buy either way. Ad copy below::

A great deal on very nice 50 Caliber size Ammo Cans!!!
We just received a very nice batch from a Govt. sale, where
We won several more lots than expected, so... We need to sell a bunch very cheaply to recover financially.

The price is only $8.90 each for cash sales, which is less than 1/2 of many that are offered elsewhere.

We are offering quantity discounts as follows for cash sales, although We will accept credit or debit cards but must add $2.00 to the total sale to compensate for the fees We must pay the Bank.

    6 cans only $50.00
    12 cans only $99.00

    WE ALSO BUY!!!!
We pay the best prices around for Military clothing and gear. Woodland and ACU camoflauge, Boots, blankets, packs, rain gear and bags, and older items as well. Please do not approach us with items that are not legal for us to purchase or sell.

Our buying hours are 10AM to 5PM Tuesday thru Saturday

It looks like they've changed the ad to be .30 cal boxes instead of the .50 cal ones.

Yep, I was there earlier today.
.30 cal cans are still on sale, but .50s are now 2/$25. Still not a bad price, and they are in good (some new) condition.
Cool store...like most other surplus stores, but with better pricing on most things.
    No affiliation, first timer here.

Nope, they're just the normal .50 cal cans.

Found lots of ammo cans at Rickreall Gun show over the weekend. 30cal cans averaged $10 and 50's were 13-15$/ea. Some of the vendors would deal. Got 30's for less than 8$ in quantity. Found Primers @ Miwall's table too. $27.50 for Winchesters.. Yahoo.. Busy show, lots of stuff, and prices were typical gun show high.. IMO
