I purchased my first firearm about a year ago due to an agreement with the wife. She gets her hair done and I get to have the same funds to a gun account. My first purchase was a 1968 winchester 270 with 6 boxes of ammo for $300. Since that point I have purchased a Marlin 22 LR to have something really cheap to shoot and a hi-point 9mm. I go out at least monthly with my 5 year old who shoots his bb gun.
