Hi, I just joined this forum and I am looking forward to be part of this group. I am not new to guns but I'm new to the area and never hunted in my life! I shoot target with my .22 Ruger pistol and 9x18 Makarov. I am also unsuccessful in eradicating the gofer population on my property, with my Mossberg 500.

welcome to NWF ! ya .....the "gopher" population is ok with the 500, but watch out for the "slug" population hanging on the side of your house..... not a good idea with the 500 ! LOL ! enjoy yourself here , and surf around the forums ! lots of good people , and plenty of info..
