Welcome! There is some great places to shoot in your area... one of our members(May he RIP) lived in Buhl.. we went out by balanced rock to test fire an AR we built and gave away a couple years ago. You should check it out if you haven't already.
I love that area. Kind of an Oasis in an otherwise blah part of the country.

Yes,I have been there as well as the south hills. You don't have to go too far in any direction and it looks like a mad max movie location.
