I live in Salem for now (never know where we will end up)

I still have a little over a month before I can get my Concealed carry permit...

Brutus. I thought about this when I lived down there. I think on an AR you could drill and tap a hole for a set screw in the lower at the front of the mag well and screw a mag in that way. It sucks but I think that would satisfy the law and you could shoot them.

Sadly I see that here someday. Really hate to say it.

Probably put them in a storage unit in Nevada! It would be a nice raise and great for the wife to be near her parents for the few years they have left. That is the main reason, also would help my retirement and it probably would be less than 10 years. But I have done a lot of soul searching. Never been arrested in my life so the idea of being a "felon" because of a bunch of smarmy socialists who have ran a good state in to the ground is very repugnant to me. Sounds like they may even ban the bullet button.

Some of my favorite memories were from NH... white water rafting on the White river or a long boat ride on lake winnipesaukee. Great times!

Much better winters out here. I left the winter wonderland of Iowa. Sub-zero temps, waste deep snow. Does not rain out here just drizzles endlessly at times. But mowing the yard in January in a tee-shirt makes it all worth while.

I've spent some winters in Maine. Houlton, Presque Isle and in between. I hope to never go back unless it's after the flies and before fall. . Loved making the trip from Houlton to Bangor with Mt Katahdin on the left then right.

And yeah, anyone who loads .300 Savage is a good guy.

Well now.... you were definately in my neck of the woods. I was born in Island Falls, We used to go to Houlton for groceries all the time. My grandparents lived in Sherman Corner (between Sherman Mills and Sherman Station) We used to go to Mt Katahdin for picnics and hiking... Yeah, the horse flies and noseeums will eat you alive!!! I sure miss home but since my GP passed my aunt and uncle got their property and screwed us out of our share so I wont go back.

I still have great memories though..
