New to Idaho question on Conceal Carry

So just recently moved to Idaho and understand that you can Conceal Carry without a license which is fantastic. But, I am a little confused on what the laws state about being in your Vehicle and Conceal Carry.

From my understanding if you don't have a permit the gun must be unloaded and put away otherwise you can have it loaded but it must visible.

Is this correct?

Would hate to have to continually remove/holster and unload/load while entering/exiting the vehicle.

It's constitutional carry and like Oregon you can carry your long gun loaded in your vehicle. But unlike Oregon,you can have your gun loaded on your atv/suv.

This is for out side cities. You do need a carry permit to have a pistol loaded in a city. It's in there some place
