They put broodstock in some of the local ponds along the coastal mountains back in January. They're starting regular stocking this week! Already caught a 5lb bass and a couple dinks, so it's time to hit the water whenever the weather permits!

Me and @Melmelhunter went to Cranberry lake a week or two ago for a few hours.
They haven't stocked it for awhile.
But she got one.
LOL PROBABLY the last fish in the lake.
They should be stocking it sometime this month.

And I just ordered about hundred bucks worth of wedding rings .
Lol different colors.
For trolling .
Trout and Kokanee.
Going to go up to Baker lake this year.

Brownlee/Richland or the Columbia are about the only viable choices for the eastside right now. Most ponds don't open for another 1 1/2 months and the streams are another month past that.

That looks like a great lake.
Open to the sea for natural sockeye spawning ?

There is a way to make those "Worm Trollers" up.
With the 2 hook rig you can use a whole night crawler.
The secret is using a 20# Dacron nail knot on the mono. (Cortland Micron flyline backing)
That's your adjustable "stopper" for either the upper hook in a two hook rig or a spinner blade.
Use plastic or folded clevises for the spinner blades.

A two-hook crawler rig with a pegged Corky is murder on Summer Steelhead.
Sometimes they can't resist a full, threaded nightcrawler.
Imagine one of those trout gobble bites only on steroids.

The downside is that it's a PITA to make up the rigs and thread the crawlers.
They last many casts though.
