"NEW" tags on the forums

I have a small request regarding the "NEW" tags on forums that contain unread posts.



If you go into the forum, mark it read, and come back to the main page the "NEW" tag is still there.

If you then refresh the page from your browser the tag goes away.

It seems like automatically refreshing the page when it loads would make this happen without having to do it manually.

Is that something that could be done? It doesn't take very long to refresh and the ads all reload anyway.

I am using the back button. I'm not seeing a link to go back.

I am using Chrome on a Windows PC and an Android phone.

That's why, the back button doesn't update the page, to get back to the main forums page just click the NW Firearms logo in the corner.
