From many (!) moons of experience in the gun biz:

The first generation of ANYTHING always needs improvement or design and/or production changes. I'd wait a year or two before investing in one of these.

Wait for the actual user reports on the net. You may pointedly ignore the gun-company prostitute gun writers in their glossy gun magazines.

At SHOT Shows, when meeting a gun writer, I always smiled widely, covered my wallet with one hand and made it a point to wash my hands thoroughly after shaking his.
