Accuracy is important for sure...
With that said its easy to get hung up on the level of accuracy.

What is the purpose of the rifle....?
If it is to shoot tiny groups on paper at various distances for score...
or if it is to fill the freezer with meat....
Then we are talking two different types of shooting and accuracy.

Something to consider here is that tiny groups on paper , don't always mean the same while hunting.
A hunting shot is often done in poor light and weather , without a bench or other super stable rest...
And for sure not under the controlled conditions of a rifle range.

Personally I don't worry 'bout barrel break-in...
( And yes I have owned and shot High Power Match Rifles before. )
I would say...
Shoot the rifle , get familiar with it....learn what load works best for your intended use and shooting style....
Keep the rifle maintained...and call it good.
