Two brand new black Pelican Protector 1720 watertight/crush proof hard cases with foam (uncut). I own many Pelican cases and highly recommend them, but I don't need this particular size.

Weird, I didn't get an alert for your reply. Anyway, sorry, I don't have any 1700s for sale. The 1700 is about 36" vs 42" for the 1720 (so 6" shorter). The 1700 does not have a folding handle so its functionally an inch or two wider than the 1720. They both fit in my back seat / trunk. Personally, I always found the 1700 to be a bit too big for a single AR/rifle unless you have a ton of accessories or you have a rifle platform that doesn't break down. I wish Pelican made a 30" Protector which would be about the right size for one AR pistol / SBR with optic and accessories. Here is what I found:

1700: one complete AR with optic + accessories + extra space
1720: two AR pistols / SBRs with optics + accessories OR two full size AR uppers with optics + one AR lower + accessories
1750: two full size ARs with optics + accessories

Anyway, good luck with finding a Pelican that matches your platform / loadout. They are definitely worth the money.
