New member, returning home to NW

I've been lurking about the pages for several weeks and finally joined. Lived in Seattle area for 20 years, but overseas for last 4 (with brief visits home) and we are looking forward to getting home within the week! WA CPL & looking forward to being able to carry again.

Will be spending significant time in Lane County, OR (family roots) this summer, so any pointers about negotiating non-resident CHL with sheriff's office in Lane County welcome.
