Hi Everyone, I am here to learn more about firearms and I have been starting to get into light gunsmithing.

I used to be so afraid to take firearms apart but recently have taken pistols and AR15s apart to learn how they work and make them work better.

Collecting parts to change a barrel on an AR15 this weekend.

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

Check out the organized clean ups. It's the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly.

We are doing non ODF supported cleanups at public forests - check the North Fork Wolf Creek Road thread in resources.

If you really want to get involved in community action check out Trash No Land.

Soon......you might/could/maybe/possibly join the Century Team of Gunsmiths.

Good luck! I'm new here, but have been on other forums and am sure many will give you help as you progress. Beware, Ar's breed like bunny's in a safe once you learn how to put them together, and soon you'll be looking for a lathe. I started with making wood stocks, then Ar's and finally got a lathe and built a bolt action last year.
