I just discovered this site while Googling for Northwest gunsmiths that are comfortable working on a 1st series (1937) Colt Woodsman. I just purchased at a local gun store on consignment. The gun shoots very straight but the trigger doesn't fully return every fourth or fifth shot. I am more than a little intimidated about fully breaking the gun down since it's a little hard to do a simple breakdown for cleaning.
