Hello, I'm a new / old member from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. I've had an account since 2012, but just lurked. I've been shooting since childhood and am a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. Coming up on nine years now in law enforcement. Glock Armorer; no other firearms specific / cool guy certifications. Goals for the new year include getting back into shooting more for enjoyment and taking some new training courses outside work. Thunder Ranch would be amazing, but I can't afford it, so if anyone could recommend a good advanced carbine course it would be appreciated! Was going to give DFI in Springfield a shot, any experiences with them?

Welcome. I know a person who is a trainer and Oregon State Trooper until about a month ago when he retired to go into training full time. He has a facebook page called PACNW Carry and Tactics and also one called PACNW Carry and Tactics. He is very knowledgeable. I am into my 32nd year of Law Enforcement even though my name says I am retired. Went back to work.
