This pistol is regarded as one of the best in the history of gunmaking, with a chapter dedicated to it in Massad Ayoob's book "Greatest Handguns of the World", Volume II. It has only been fired 5 times for proofing purposes at the factory in Germany in 1993. Other than that, it has been confined to the safe. It is from the pinnacle of Sig Sauer gunmaking, known as a grey box model from the color of the shipping container and thought by many to be the period of Sig's finest offerings. It comes with everything as new just as it left the factory - the second magazine, unwrapped, the test target, instruction booklet, box with serial number matching the pistol, and retail hang tag. $1100.00 firm ftf in Seattle area with concealed weapons permit or $50.00 shipped to your FFL. Please, no trades. This gun is cosmetically perfect and the photos only show lint on the surface. No, the fingernail polish is not mine; it belongs to my wife.
