Buffalo Bore ammunition is now marketing a hot .32 H&R Magnum hollowpoint loading! This makes it a truly valid self-defense caliber! It is rated as safe for all name-brand guns EXCEPT the long out of production original Harrington and Richardson revolvers that the original weak load was designed for. All of the other name-brand guns were made to handle much hotter rounds than the original. The Buffalo Bore website posts test data from real world guns, and the velocities are impressive. It is not inexpensive, but being made in Montana the shipping should be low cost.....................elsullo :s0155:

Its interesting to see so much renewed interest in the .32 H&R Mag, I'm guessing a lot of this is due to the release of the .327 federal. Most of the loads out there for the .32H&R are about equivalent to a light black powder .32-20 load with a 115gr lead bullet.

Are you thinking about all of the "Cowboy Action" lead loads? They only need to be strong enough to pop balloons! The two commercial loadings, both by Federal, deliver energy equivalent to most standard pressure .38 Special from a two inch barrel. There was a hot load available from Georgia Ammunition, but the shipping cost more than the ammo. That's why this new load from Buffalo Bore Ammo is such good news...........................elsullo
