I very much agree. I do not see this site as primarily a classifieds venue, but as a gun enthusiast community. Join in, discuss, share, and maybe folks could get to know you. I never buy from a new person whose only interest in this site is to sell.I would also recommend if looking to post here, get involved first- do some good responses to posts, engage in conversation. If we have new member with no prior posts and no feedback history on sales, people will be more hesitant to do a deal, especially if there arent many prior posts or if they just joined. You could also add some quick security/cred by becoming a "bronze supporter" or higher- not only does that often lead to better profile trust, but also gives you benefits for posting in the classified ads- like faster 'bump' time to bump your posting to the top, etc. IMO it is very inexpensive, and goes to a great cause, to keep this forum going!
Nevad Shooters is mostly classified. Some chit-chat but 90% ads.I very much agree. I do not see this site as primarily a classifieds venue, but as a gun enthusiast community. roger that, thanks for the good advice. this was gonna be a one time thing to free up some space. looking around here, i keep seeing guns I always wanted,Do it local and get some good ratings/feedback going so others will see it on your profile, and put pics up. Once you get some good feedback, then other folks who aren't local would probably be more willing to do business long distance.

Welcome OP! And I am going to start with a bronze membership when I get paid in a couple of weeks. There has been so many things that I've bought from the classified section of this site. I joined this forum 6 months ago. I have been kind of testing the waters, but I did make a donation a few months back.I would also recommend if looking to post here, get involved first- do some good responses to posts, engage in conversation. Welcome. I am in a similar process of letting go of a bunch of reloading components I no longer need. Best of luck.Been accumulating a few firearms over the last 35 years. Would like to sell the ones i never use. Any advice? Pistols, shotguns and a Japanese war 2 infantry rifle. All in good condition, most I bought new.
Any advice?
Thanks In advance
