California v. Texas: See which gun law changes make a difference

This Friday, new gun laws take effect in California and Texas, and today news agencies in both states along with the Wall Street Journal are discussing the changes, but what may be more important is how these legal actions are seen six months and a year from now.

The California one is what makes me nervous.

Late spring when I was accused of threats (all dropped/dismissed at court) that resulted in a restraining against me, I can't imagine a judge taking the word of a pissed off person and trying to make a rational decision.

Knee jerk reactions that do nothing in California. Paper doesn't saves lives.

I always think there should be a place for gun haters to live, and to suffer the consequences of their own choices. Might as well be California. Hope the local gun haters move down there to be with others like them. We don't need 'em in Oregon.

I do like that idea of stripping the governor's armed guards of their weapons. What better way to point out the hypocrisy?

@PaulB47 isnt that genius?
