Here is my favorite 1911. I bought this one here from Angler. It came with walnut grips that I didn't think matched well with the damascus slide, so I picked up some new ones from Sarge's Finer Grain. Doesn't she look pretty...

    Interesting gun. :)
I also have some of Sarges stuff. Fit great and look sharp. Go show that thing off in the 1911 forum. See ya there. Look up 69Charger.

    Sir,
That is a fine looking 1911. Do you know who did the original build, very nice work.

Thanks, I took a trip to the range with it today, really fun to shoot. The ported barrel makes for a nice blast of flame out the top. Stuart Nuss out of Montana did the original build.

That's a fine looking shooting iron you've got there. The Sarge sure makes some nice grips. Here's mine:

Captqc, Those are looking pretty nice too. I like the spalting on the Wesson, although the Ed Brown looks good too. Which type of checkering do you like better?

The Ed Brown feels much better, the Dan Wesson checkering is too sharp for my taste. Gary
