Just found this place a few days ago and I think I will be posting here often.

I moved to the northwest in late 2006 after 4 years in the AirForce.
I've been stationed in Kadena AB Japan working F-15 weapons, did one tour in the sand box, then to Nellis AFB Nevada working on HH-60 Pave-hawk guns M240's, M2 .50 cal, and M134(which is a lot of fun to shoot). 2004 I got my first personal rifle (AR-15)soon as that assault weapon ban ended. all the extra practice helped me get my marksman medal. missed my second deployment after being diagnosed with asthma and was later medically discharged. now I live here and love it.
But enough about me. this is my rifle. still can't think of a name for it.
I spent about $1,400 on all the parts. can't imagine the cost today
finally getting some new gear for it. ordered some magpul irons, vertical grip, and tactical sling. works better than the crap the AF would issue me
