I own a mosin nagant m91/30 and I want to put a picanty rail on it. Not looking to spend a whole lot but I also don't want to buy something that breaks or just falls apart. Any suggestions?

The first two questions would be why?, and where on the gun?

Sometimes you find things in the most unexpected places.

    Check this out

Yes, they are a Furniture Store but it appears that the owner may have a side hobby as well.

I bought a really good "A-4" bolt for an '03-A3 from a "Cutlery Store" once.

This is just a simple "Barska" base so it's no doubt available from other sources. My experience with items like this from Barska is that they're more than just "serviceable".

Same mount, 17 bucks on Amazon ==>> Barska Mount

Here is how I did a cheap long eye relief scope on mine, Mosin LER. In post number 2, I have exactly what I used and where I sourced them (Amazon). I just checked and the links are still good.
