Need some .45 acp reloading help

FWIW I mostly have used Unique in my .45ACP loads, CCI lg P primers. No issues. "Dirty" is a relative thing, since I clean the pistol after firing.
HP38 and Unique or Bullseye in .357 and 9mmP.. Unique is still a well-nigh universal powder for pistols, tho there may be newer more specialised powders available. I bought the Bullseye and Unique some years ago in the large cannisters, dunno if such are still available. Am at the point where Im shooting up the stuff I stashed away for a "rainy day".

I use bullseye also but my dad gave me about 6# of red dot so I have been using that in 45 and 38. I like it. I dont care about dirty loads if I want I can clean my gun.

I have used Unique almost exclusively for decades.. "dirty"? Maybe but it has never failed to function in any of my pistols or revolvers. (9mm, .38/.357, .44/.44mag, .45acp).
There are of course other powders that work as well, but Unique and Bullseye are useful over a wide range of handguns and simplify my powder needs.

Bump up the pressure or switch to a faster burning powder.

I used Red Dot in these too. Works great for me.

I have several pounds of B'eye and Unique. I find them exception with my Colt Mk IV Series 70.
