Need scope mounting help

Just got a scope mount for my kids cricket .22, it's flat like a weaver mount pictured. But in picture #2 you can see the scope has the mounting bolt that sits in the groove of a picatinny rail, which doesn't work on a weaver mount with no grooves. So how do I mount the scope?

That's a 3/8″ dovetail mounting plate, which means you'll need dovetail rings to mount to it. Weaver / Picatinny rings won't work, for the reason you observed.

It took me a long time just to find the custom Mount that was made for a cricket I've never seen one that was picatinny
