Ok - Long story but an elderly neighbor found this pistol in her husband's effects. It may be a WWII bring back (possibly) from Europe. The caliber appears to be .25 acp (that's what is written on the tin box in sharpie) and the only marking other than a 5 digit serial number on the frame is a "T" within a triangle on the left side of the dust cover. ideas? value?

Generally, it looks a lot like the old 6.35 Mauser's....

Where is the T in a triangle? I think I see VB or V8 in the trangle...

Have you tried to take the handle off to see if there is any notation on the skeleton, or possible on the underside of the grips?
