Need gunsmith advise;How do I take off this mag tube?

I recently picked up a BEATER savage model 5 and have been tinkering around with it. I'm trying to pull it all apart and re blue it, clean the 60years off grease and rust, ect.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the mag tube off. I can't see any pins( on the rifle or schematics ). So my only assumption is it pulls out along the receiver.... But I can't get the magazine guide out to attempt to hammer it out.

The magazine tube probably has a bit of rust or crud down where is slips into the magazine guide, on the under side of the reciever! Be careful not to dent the tube....
