A buffer and an extra strength recoil spring.. If its over gassed?

Granted the theory on the extra strength recoil spring is that the bolt and bolt carrier slam harder into the front trunion and folks have mentioned the possibility of a cracked front trunion.

maybe take a piece of stainless rod stock and make your own gas piston with a bit of a taper to allow for some quicker bleed off... its all just guess work until you have the weapon in hand for close inspection.

The gun has been rebuilt with new barrel with the correct sized gas port. It was a mess. AK47 sized gas port, welded rivets etc. A 74 gas port os half the size of a 47 gas port. There is just no fixing that problem without reducing the size of the port. Now it is a 105 clone.
