How many hours are you a planning to drive? The closest that I know where you can go is a National Forest, be careful though, some areas are close to shooting.

One small rock pit in Elbe Hills ORV park near Ashford WA is open to shooting.

All the good places in the national Forest that allow shooting are under 15 feet of snow this time of year.

It is on the corner of MLK and Rainier AVe....no tag require ha ha ha I used to lived there while going schools. I thought that corners have lots of zombies walking at night time.
