It'll be years if there isn't a parallel path. Even the small station service transformers are way out. Fortunately, they have a few spares sitting around typically.It isn't just malicious attacks, it is earthquakes, storms, fires and EMP/CME.
If we have something widespread happen, it won't be weeks, it my be more than months, it might be years.
