I am fairly sure that is is personal preference... I worked CSAR in the AF and that was the standard for us. I have worked with a few Seal teams and they all had different sidearms and rifles of choice.

There are role specific rifles (i.e. classes) which sometimes are met, if that is what you are looking for?

They carry whatever the operator wants with their mission in mind. They do have HK USP's, but many prefer the Sig 226. They have been running the SR-25 for a long time. McMillan sniper rifles since the early 1980's. They have a huge selection to choose from. I'm not a Navy Seal, but I know 2 different retired ones. JPG

I was just looking for in general. Like M4 platform or M14? Caliber of handguns and combat rifles. Someone was telling me a lot of them carry the SOCOM IIs and 1911s, he isn't a very good source of info...

Sorry, didn't mean any disrespect, just wanted to add some others that weren't on your list based on what I've seen. I was surprised that website had such an outdated list.
Preferences vary, but in kits that I've seen the Mk 24 handgun (SIG 226) and Mk 18 Mod 0 (Shorty M16 made by Crane) seem to be the personal choices. Some carry the HK416, but most use the Mk18. They have SCARS, but no one I've spoken with likes them. The Mk 13 Mod 1 SWS in .300 WM seemed to be the most popular sniper rifle in use.

Items such as the Mk 15 (Mcmillian TAC50) very rarely get used. The explanation I was given was - why would you hump a 26lb .50" anti material weapon when you could carry a 26lb 5" anti material weapon. (Javelin missile).
