I just got an Email from this org saying,:
According to our records, your active membership will expire at the end of December!

Well, I have never been a member of this org and don't recall ever knowing anything about it.

Anyone else get a similar message? Just a standard organizational blitz to get donations?

They seem to be a real organization: https://nationalgunrights.org/

Strange I've never heard of them before. Some are citing this as a scam: https://community.usconcealedcarry.com/t/scam-alert-national-association-for-gun-rights/793

"Listening to Armed American Radio on the ride home and heard a warning for Alabama that DJ Patton of the national Association for gun rights is moving into Alabama.

Based only on what I heard on armed American radio, this organization is a scam and does not support gun rights.

I am not saying they're good or bad, just saying and I heard a warning. Do your research before donating any money, or stick to the good ones… The NRA, second amendment foundation, gun owners of America, etc."

Be cautious

I've followed them for awhile, along with National Foundation for Gun Rights (NFGR). They've fought a few gun battles in congress the NRA bailed on. They also just filed lawsuit in San Jose against their new gun tax. I don't think they are a scam, just don't know how effective they really are, so have yet to donate.

Their press conference for San Jose:
