Ok... I haven't paid attention to Washington laws because Oregon is goofy enough.Take a look at this:
My reading, they may have the use of one under the circumstances described in the cited RCW, above.
Ages 18 to 21.
So, this means M1A is a semi-automatic assault rifle..."Initiative 1639 was a Washington state ballot initiative concerning firearms regulation that was passed into law on November 6, 2018. The initiative altered the gun laws in Washington by defining the term "semiautomatic assault rifle" to include all semiautomatic rifles."
You can take out a whole army of…rabbits?
So, this means M1A is a semi-automatic assault rifle...
A 10/22 is a semi-automatic assault rifle...
Yes, any and all semiautomatic rifles in WA state are now considered by TPTB to be "semiautomatic assault rifles", no mater how non sequitur and galactically stupid that expression sounds.Yes, this relatively new definition must be paid attention to. I'm pretty certain there are people around Wash. who still don't understand that a .22 LR semi auto falls into this category.
I'm old enough that when I was 17 and went to boot I qualified with the M14 and 1911A1. Went to the fleet and we had M16, Mossberg 500 and 1911A1 for ship protection.I joined the armed forces at 17 they issued me a full auto M-16 I do not get this BS anymore !
Pretty sure it needs to weigh as much as 9 moving boxes, be able to shoot 50 cal 556 rounds, and of course have the ability to fire FULL SEMI-AUTO!!!!!!!!Ok... I haven't paid attention to Washington laws because Oregon is goofy enough.
But what does "semiautomatic assault rifle" mean? How do they define that?
