My ridiculous gun purchase

I have shoot the 500 in a short barrel and it is brutal. But in the full barrel it is pretty good.
One word of caution the porting on that gun will clear the bench and everything on it.

I had one just like that. Shooting Ultramax ammo is pretty soft. If you want a real bang, pick up the Hornady ammo (something like $56 for 20). That's true MAGNUM ammo. I loaded up 350 and 400 gr over loads of H110. I giggled every time I pulled the trigger.

PS, the wood grips will look cool, but if you're shooting hot loads they will probably get removed quickly. You'll be thankful for the cushion the Hogue grips provide.

Have you ever bought a gun that was just over-the-top ridiculous? A gun you cannot possibly justify a need for or a reason for owning.

I live in America. Of course I have. I blame Sully for selling it, its scope, and its rings to me.
