I call todays WEA a failure. It was to vague. How many people would have been looking for a crew cab flatbed and fifth wheel? I bet the trucks front plate is gone while the rear is obstructed. Hope the outcome is good!

Something is better than nothing but you can see below how people could read the same alert and easily be blowing right past the truck and trailer because the lack of pertinence. If you tap on the alert to dig further you get a duplicate in a black box.

Unfortunately come to discover the mobile alert is limited to only 46 characters. Hopefully that can be beefed up so people who are commuting and cant surf the web can be looking for more than just a gold Silverado. Fingers crossed for those kids!!!

That was why I blocked them on mine. First time the damn things went off I was sleeping and that came blasting out of two phones at the same time. I jumped out of bed wondering WTF! :s0140:
I they offered to just have some kind of silent notification I would be fine with that.
Sorry, you can have the government cheese or not have the government cheese. It comes in one size.

Mine went off too and I am glad it did. Also went off about this time last year due to evac upgrades-downgrades due to a big close wild fire. Also went off a long time ago advertising Trump's west coast emergency network. Made that LOUD emergency bi or tri off-key ring tone. Never hear THAT before. Really got my attention.

Edit extra. Got and held my limited stupid attention enough that I had a good scary dream where my cell phone went off again knocking me out of bed only the audio was loud and advertised, (advised?) of a 9.5 earthquake off the Kural islands combined with an immediate huge sub marine landslide. 200 footer feared at around noon. Yikes!
