My new-to-me Colt Magnum Carry

I picked up my new Colt Magnum Carry today. I had been wanting one for a long time and I finally bit the bullet and paid the high secondary market price for one. Here are a couple quick pics taken tody. I had not even cleaned it yet when they were taken.







The only real difference I can see between the .38spl Detective Special SF-VI and the .357mag Magnum Carry is a slight difference in thickness of the top strap above the cylinder. The Magnum Carry is a little bit thicker.



These is a tiny bit of roughness in a couple places on the gun (shown in the video linked below) but the gun is otherwise pristine. I just need to take out those rough spots and then decide if I am going to polish this one up to a mirror shine or leave it brushed.
