yeah i shot my buddys 870 but it had a longer barrell but i very much so enjoyed it!!!!

Ah yes, that was the first new gun I bought myself after turning 18. I already had some inherited guns but the 870 was the first I bought myself. Days later a Ruger 10/22 followed.

If you're open to suggestions for the next few..
I'd recommend:
a Ruger Mk III pistol - everyone should have a fun .22 pistol
a .22LR semi auto rifle (10/22 or Marlin mod 60 or Sig 522
a semi auto defensive caliber handgun - too many options. Choose what works best for you.
After that you'll be well on your way.
God help you if you catch the black rifle disease!!
