There is a stereo in my reloading room and I enjoy a wide variety of music, but the Rolling Stones albums from late 1960's to the early 1970's probably get more air time then anything else.

I listen to:
Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... brrrr, tink, tink, tink, tink...
Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... Clickety-clank, clunk... brrrr, tink, tink, tink, tink...

etc.

BUZZZZZZZZ - (time to reload the primer tube.)

If I don't hear this rhythm I stop and check out what isn't functioning -properly on my Dillon 650XL.

I've also been letting pandora shuffle through a bit. I've got a station that's mostly newer rock/alternative that I let run a lot of the time, but every time Five Finger Death Punch comes on, I recall a younger coworker telling me it sounds like "divorced-dad rock". I can't listen to it the same anymore, and I have to take a break to go spend time with my wife.

I'm split on loading. If I'm working up new loads, I prefer the quiet of my den where my thoughts and attention can be focused.
If I'm bulking up on a fixed load, the rhythm and reverie of old favorites from the past I don't regularly listen to, goes well with the mundane and relatively thoughtless functions.

In no particular order:
- Thomas Newman's 'The Highwaymen' soundtrack
- ANYTHING by Aaron Copland, but especially the CD/Spotify album of songs conducted by Leonard Bernstein (Appalachian Spring, Rodeo, Billy The Kid, Fanfare For The Common Man)
- Judas Priest - Point of Entry, Screaming For Vengeance, British Steel
- The Smiths - Meat is Murder
- Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair
- Tower Of Power - The Very Best Of Tower Of Power

The stereo comes on with the light in my reloading area. The tuner is set on KGON classic rock. If I am going to be at it a while I'll put on one of my 600 pre 1985 Classic Rock CD's

My reloading area stereo is one of the mini Radio Shack 2 watt amps and matching tuners with a very high end Aiwa portable CD player. And a pair of little Minimus 7 speakers. Sounds great in the small space.

Try The Brew, 105 something FM.. pretty awesome.

It might come up in the rotation but not one I seek out. I have AADD with a very active brain so find music keeps the distracted half busy while the other half is focused on the task at hand. I tried books on tape but find when the book get interesting I stop and listen. With music it's more just a pleasant distraction to the voices in my head.
It's the very same with me. I avoided it for years due to the typical advice about distractions before I realized that music helps my focus better 99% of the time. Like you, my auto-playlists are also VERY wide ranging LOL. Most of the time when I make a mistake it's because the missus interrupted me with something but she doesn't do that too often :)
