ALL the countries above America have 100% gun bans

Thanks for the stats. I was arguing with someone the other day who was saying that Americas violence is "out of control". Obviously someone who supports a ban, these type of statistics help get through the lies.

That's not true. You can own guns in Mexico (no military calibers, they love 38 super), Russia (shotguns, they hunt bears with 7.62x54r), and Belize (I looked into moving there)... I mean, you can't own the really fun stuff, but they still allow firearms.

Last I heard a .22 was the largest a private citizen could own and there was only one gun store in all of Mexico. Maybe that's why Obwan/Holder started running guns to Mexico. Easy money!!

"Gun control" does not necessarily mean "gun ban". I'm sure you can own any firearm you want in any country in the world, if you have enough money and the right political connections. It's people control, not crime control.

You are right, the only gun store in Mexico is in Mexico City. It is Government run. The people can have one gun and can not be taken off there property and they only get a small amount of ammo. I knew there was some countries on the list that the people could have some guns. I just didn't think that some people would be that picky.

I thought the treinta-treinta (30-30) was near-universal in Mexico.

And it's not true that you can't keep a decent pistola in Mexico, either. I know a guy there with a Glock 25 that we can't buy here! Sure, he had to fill out a lot of paperwork, but it's his now.
