Driving onto a ferry drunk is yet another level of stupid above driving drunk in general. Reap, sow. And I agree with Heretic, it's probably an AR pistol. It's too complex a concept for an uncaring, agenda-driven press to concern themselves with.

In the state of Alaska, it is illegal to handle alcohol and firearms at the same time, also to be in possession of both. Last time I checked, WA is not seceded to AK.

It's been reported since the second day this story hit that the guy walked on the boat. He did not have a vehicle. He was supposedly hiding the AR in a coat and then acting like he was trying to avoid the crew who took to watching him. Not to mention he has made himself a "pest" in the past by having to be removed from the boat over mask issues. While I feel the mask thing has been a huge hoax I never forced placed to remove me over it. Act like this, then walk on carrying an AR you are trying to hide, yet people can see it? The guy may as well had a neon sign over his head saying "KOOK".
