I have seen MSAR AR mags come up on sale a few different times on some of the websites i frequent and have thought about getting some but don't want to throw money down the drain. I know they had some problems a few years ago when they first came out but haven't seen anything bad about them in the last couple years. would it be worth to grab a few next time they're on sale? Anybody have some personal experiences?

Agreed.

I see no reason to buy MSAR mags when pmags are so cheap and plentiful.

Maybe I'm drinking the magpul kook-aid but to me it seems that for the value/quality... pmags cannot be beat.

I just ordered some pmags from ineedmoregear.com and all went well, and good prices too.

If you want to save money go with the M2 versions, although I personally like the M3 version that comes with the dust covers.
