The ad says it's pinned in place, and if you removed it it would make it an SBR, so not a good idea.

Meant in terms of SBR-ing it. Would threads be left that would be usable by a suppressor?

As stated above, there is a pin which appears to make the fake suppressor "permanently" attached and therefore a 16 inch barrel lenght. I have not tried taking it out nor will I. A new owner who wishes to make it a legal SBR can do whatever he or she wants.
