thanks everybody. Yes, very happy to be out of that place.

More info - I can get it on a pallet without issue. My problem is getting it on and off the moving truck. Can't find a U-Haul type company with a lift gate. The forklift rental is worth looking into.

Try Penske. That's where I rented a truck with a lift gate to move my safe. It was about the same price as U-Haul, but a much better truck. A lift gate makes it super easy.

Penske does have lift gate trucks but they told me they only rent them local. No one-way rentals.

Then rent a fork lift on each end of the trip.
