I am a milsurp nut and I really want to add a couple more Mosin's. I'm looking for the good old 91/30's and M-44's. I would be interested in the Chinese Type-53's if they're not beat to hell as well.

I live in the Portland area and would be willing to meet someone at a reasonable distance.
Also if anyone has bulk 7.62x54R, I'd be very interested also.

Thanks
JoeZeon

my 1954.9 and my 1954.8 T-53's are more fun to shoot and were better guns than my 1944M44 russian. the T-53's are not counterbored like most M44's and have nicer triggers on them. a lot of the dents in stock can be raised up by placing a towel (terry cloth) that is wet on wood and then iron it using a steam iron set on high heat. besides i only paid $60 for my T-53 and stock is not as nice as M44 ,but you can find a M44 stock on ebay for $40-$45 and direct replace chinese T-53 stock.
