This gun is freaking awesome, and in very good condition. Wood furniture is in really good shape, and the bore is nice and shiny in excellent shape. You might be hard pressed to find many Mosin Nagants out there with a better bore than this one.
Matching serial numbers, but it looks like replacement parts that were put in shortly after it entered service because the serial numbers are italicized and not stamped. I imagine this gun was used by a Soviet soldier in WWII, and a couple parts needed to be replaced at some point. Judging by the marking it looks like it was made in the Soviet Izhevsk factory
Comes with original sling and bayonet!
Also comes with Mosin ammo pouch that contains a bunch of tools that they used to repair and clean it, also with the lubricant.
Finally it does include this grey carrying sock thing for it. As a bonus I will throw in the couple rounds of 7.62x54r that I do have!
Again this gun is awesome. I imagine it was used by a Soviet soldier to kill Nazis, but obviously I don't have paperwork to prove that. Issued in 1942 with the original hammer and sickle on it.
Smooth bolt action and overall clean. I fired it once in a forest and it was extremely loud and powerful. Really kicks you.
Only reason I'm selling it is because I only shoot at indoor ranges now and not many indoor ranges will let you shoot this caliber of round inside.
These normally go for around $500-600 in decent shape, maybe with or without the bayonet and sling. I'm including both bayonet and sling, plus the ammo pouch and tools and carrying sock, and it's in excellent condition, therefore I am pricing this at $500.
