Looking for a Mosin M1891 stock set (American, Russian or Finish (M91, M24 or P-Series)). The stock set consist of the handguard/buttstock and the attaching metal (springs, bands, cap etc.). The main purpose is to rehome a Remington M1891 Mosin barreled receiver so I can actually restore it to close to original. I do have a C&R (FFL 03) so can transfer to me directly if your have a M91 you will part with.

PM me if you have a set or even just one of (buttstock or handguard) or misc parts to sell/dispose of.

**Please note, not looking for a synthetic sporter stock at all.**

Thanks!

Scot

Why not just email Fox gunstocks in Poland? He made me 2 GEW98 stocks and they are perfect plus he even adds period stamping!
I know of Fox and did not see a Mosin option on his sight. Also, some issues with folks on Gunboards mentioning customs issues receiving their product recently. I think his lead time is like 6 months as well.

Cheers

I might have what you need. I have been holding onto a Mosin stock and handguard (I think I have 1 barrel band), for almost 20 years. From the 1896 if my memory is correct, but definitely pre-1900s. Buddy was going to toss it after he put his mosin in a synth stock. Interestingly, it does have brass "accuracy" shims in it, looks to be original. Pm me if interested.
