A new bill has been introduced that looks to destroy the barriers that prevent the ATF from explicitly maintaining a searchable digital database.

The Crime Gun Tracing Modernization Act has been introduced by the anti-gun duo of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Congressman Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.), and we need to take action to kill it.

This bill would eliminate the regulatory protections in place that prevent the ATF from running and operating a digital, searchable database of firearm purchases.

The reasons for the protections are to prevent the accumulation and abuse of privately owned firearm transactions and their owners, plain and simple. So, to call for the removal of them is to make it so a database like this could be used in the open without consequence.

Regardless of whatever excuse they use, be it crime prevention or reduction, the fact is they want your name on a list, one they could use at their discretion.

We think that is awfully sketchy, and would more than likely lead to what these lists are historically used for, confiscation.

To prevent this, this bill MUST be defeated, so hit that take action button and tell your elected officials to can this garbage.

More legislation like this is on the way, so we all must remain vigilant and keep an eye out. Look for FPC emails daily, and take action every time you can!

But what about when taking action isn't enough?
Or when rogue agencies like the ATF decide to make the laws up themselves?

That's where the FPC Legal Team comes in.

Our robust team of lawyers are more than willing to go for the throat of any tyrant that tries to restrict our rights, but to keep them that way, we need support going towards our litigation fund.

We rely on the contributions of supporters like you, so regardless of what you can do, head on over to the link below and make it so we can continue to file and win our lawsuits like our recent Mock v. Garland case, targeting the new ATF pistol brace rule.
